About the Smosh account

Smosh is an YouTube account, there was made in 2005 by 2 guys, Anthony Padilla  and Ian Hecox. But their Website was made in 2002, and it was originally  started as a social network for Ian and Anthony, so they could chat with their friends. (Smosh.com) 

Anthony was the creater of Smosh. He first began to post flashmovies ect. His friend Ian began to join him, and they started Smosh. They began to post more and more videos, and they had  many views on YouTube and many subscribers. Now they are one of the most famous people on YouTube and have over 5 million subscribers(565.691.363) and over 1.7 billion video views(1.801.911.558). 

The name 'Smosh' came from an incident where Anthony mistook a friend explaining a mosh pit, as a "smosh". 

The 2 guys first met in their sixth grade science class. They became friends and discovered that they were both funny. In 2005, they joined YouTube and decided to make a YouTube account. 

Every friday, they upload a new episode on the YouTube channel Smosh.

About their other channels

IanH is their second channel, where Ian uploads homevideos with him and Anthony. It's where they post Lunchtime w/ Smosh, Ian is Bored and Smosh Pit Weekly, who is made by their friend Mari. They upload new episodes every monday and every saturday. 

They have made a new channel: Smosh Games, where they upload videos with their other friends, where they play games. They make 2 videos every day, with new games. It's not only Ian and Anthony, but 4 other friends to.

AskCharlie was their third channel, where they posted videos of ask Charlie. The channel is inactive, so they don't make videos on it anymore. They stoppe posting video's December 2011. They posted videos on it every Wednesday. Charlie is Ian's guinea pig.

Anthony also have he's own channel(AnthonyPadilla) where he post he's own weird homevideos. He makes rarely videos on this channel.

ShutUpCartoons is a cartoon channel there's created by Smosh featuring shows like krogzilla, Oishi High school Battle and Samurai Daycare. They upload cartoon videos every day, but not on saturday and sunday.

They also have channels, where it's on other languages. It's El Smosh which is with spanish voiceover.  once they had a channel called SmoshNorwegian, which was with Norwegian lyrics. They upload videos every sunday and wednesday.

About Ian and Anthony

Ian:

 The most smoshfans says, that Ian is the funny person in Smosh, where Anthony is the hottest.
Ian was born in November 30, 1987, and is two and a half moths younger that Anthony. Ian's full name is Ian Andrew Hecox and he is a Christian. He's been voted as popular amongst fans, with more than 1,000,000 subscribers on IanH.

Ian have darkbrown hair, iceblue eyes and a darkbrown beard and pale skin.



In an interview with PartnerProjekt Ian said, that in high school he was an outsider, and was an 'emo'. Later he joined Anthony and he's friends.
In 2007, he came in a relationship with Melanie Moat.
Ians personality:
Ian is often portrayed as dumb, ignorant or childish. He is often seen less mature than Anthony. Ian is often going into temper tantrums and crying fits.

Anthony:

Anthony's full name is Anthony Danger Padilla. He's born September 16, 1987. He is Mixican-American. Anthony is the founder of Smosh Produktions and he also came up with the name 'Smosh'. As i wrote earlier, Ian is the funny guy, and Anthony is the hot guy. 

Anthony is also a born Christian, like Ian. Anthony is in a relationship with Kalel Cullen.

Anthony has brown colored eyes, a slightly tan face and short dark brown hair, which often is mistaken or made fun of as 'emo hair'. 

Anthony's personality: 

Anthony is often shown as much smarter and more mature than Ian. He is also very childish.
